You will be greeted and collected at your hotel by our guide and driver.
Our city tour will begins by taking you to Wat Sisaket – The oldest and most beautiful temple built in 1818 by the King Anouvong. It is also home to nearly 7000 of mysterious Buddha images.
The tour continues towards Haw PhraKaeo or the Temple of Emerald Buddha – an architectural masterpiece constructed in 1565.
Afterwards, we pay a visit to the most famous gilded stupa of Laos as well as the symbol of the country - Pha That Luang. Visiting this charming structure, you can admire the typical architecture of temples in Laos as well as the statue of the King Jayavarman VII – the one to convert Khmer Empire to Buddhism in Laos.
Once done at Pha That Luang, we proceed to the next sites and make a stopover at COPE – a meaningful center to help the victims of UXO in Laos.
Patuxai will be our next stop. This impressive monument was built in 1960s to commemorate all the Lao people died in prerevolutionary wars. Climbing to its top, you can witness a panorama of Vientiane City and its tranquil outskirts.
The tour continues with a 25-km drive to the one-of-a-kind Buddha Park or Xieng Khuan. The attraction contains over 200 Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes, which offers you many photo opportunities as well as the chance to learn more about Buddhism in Laos.
Return to Vientiane in the late afternoon and make a stopover at Wat Chom Phet, an unassuming temple with unique sculptures.
Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon
