Holding an important position in the history of Vietnam, Cu Chi Tunnel is worth paying a visit first. Almost your time in this morning will be spent exploring one of the most significant historic sites in Vietnam. Built in 1940s, Cu Chi Tunnels is an extensive complicated network of underground tunnels used by Vietnamese soldiers as hiding spots during the war time. Come here and you can not only walk through the tunnel system but know the life of people once lived here as well because apart from the traps, there are some essential life items inside some tunnels. After learning so much history in Cu Chi tunnel in the morning, you will leave there and get ready for the walking tour in the afternoon.

Starting from Sai Gon River, you will walk at leisure pace to the Opera House to contemplate its elegant architecture. Then, visit Town Hall, the outstanding buildings which was erected in 1902 -1908 and designed based on the model of almost European town halls. Although you’re not allowed to come inside, coming and  learning about its history are not the bad ideas. Notre Dame cathedral is the next stop where you can take some nice photos of the impressive red brick church built by the French. This morning, get ready to move to Can Tho, one of the tourist spots in the Mekong Delta. Coming to Can Tho, you will start a new adventure by embarking a cruise on Tien River to My Tho Fish Market, a local market  which mainly selling fish apart from some essential items for everyday life. This trip is also a good opportunity for you to witness the life of the local in four islands dotted on the Tien River. Get on the islands and ride bicycle to explore the villages in your own ways. Beside, if you want your trip more special, you should give sampan a try. Let’s try controlling the sampan by yourself and get some interesting moments with it. Finishing the tour on Tien River, you will turn back to Can Tho in the afternoon and the rest day is at your leisure. Enjoy meal and stay overnight at the hotel to recharge energy for the upcoming trip.

Today trip, you will get onto the bamboo boat to discover the Mekong Delta and visit one of the most interesting places, Cai Rang Floating Market. The unique and main feature of this market is fruits trading. And it takes 30 minutes from Can Tho city to this market by boat. There are many boats which taking fruits to the market for trade therefore the whole river is always crowded and colorful. The market is famous for fruits, however, to supply the people’s demand, it have also some boat where other people selling Pho or Bun,etc. After the tour, you will have a flight from Ho Chi Minh city to Hue, be picked up and transfered to the hotel to check in. Enjoy your breakfast then get ready to visit Minh Mang Tomb which was located in the West bank of Perfume River. This majestic tomb was built to worship King Minh Mang, the second ruler in Nguyen Dynasty. With the beautiful setting and the special architecture, the tomb become one of the must-see attractions in Hue. After leaving Minh Mang tomb, you will sail boat on Perfume River to reach Thien Mu pagoda. It’s great to take some photos of an ancient seven-storey tower erected in the beautiful natural setting from the far distance on the river. This tower is the most special site in Thien Mu pagoda. It is used to dedicated to Buddha once came to this area in human form. With this legend, the two-meter tower was built as a religious spot as was known as the highest stupa in Vietnam. Nowadays, it becomes an symbol of Hue and is mentioned in poets, cadao or folk rhymes.

Another particular symbol in Hue is Imperial Citadel, which was built in Nguyen Dynasty. Known as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Imperial Citadel is an ideal place to gain knowledge about a famous Dynasty in Vietnam including history and culture through outstanding features of architecture and intricate work inside and outside the citadel. Moving to the centre of Citadel, you can find the Purple city, the highlight of the Citadel. It once was used by the Emperor only, but now you can take time to explore it when you take a tour here. It won’t let you down with the unique decorative walls and the picturesque view of the Forbidden Citadel.

Voted as one of the most attracting beaches in the world by Forbes magazine, Non Nuoc beach is an ideal place for your to remove your tiredness before you continue your long but interesting tour. Then, take time in Cham Museum to see the diverse collection of Cham sculptures dated back many years ago. You don’t linger too much here since you will move to Hoi An, spend the rest time of the day here to check in hotel, enjoy meal and rest.

Japanese Covered Bridge is a bridge erected with a tile-covered roof and represents the Japanese architectural features. The unique thing feature of this bridge is a temple inside it. The temple is easy to reach since it is located near the entrance of this popular tourist spot. Besides, Chinese temple and  some old merchants houses are also put on the list of must-see sites in this Hoi An’s tour. They are the particular places for you to learn about the long history as well as the culture value of Vietnamese. Then, you will end your tour in Thanh Ha Pottery village, where you can reach by making a cruise on Hoai River. Then, you will take time to visit One Pillar Pagoda, an elegant Buddhist temple in Hanoi. It was built by Ly Thai Tong to show his gratitude to Goddess of Mercy who give a predication in his dream. In the dream Goddess of Mercy sat on a lotus flower and bring him a male child who is believed as the heirs. Thus, the pagoda was built in flower shape on a pillar at the centre of a lotus flower pond.

Next, you will  have  a trip to Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh temple to learn about Vietnam’s religion and the relics through their structures and stories related to them. Ethnology Museum is also worth visiting. Vietnam is known as home of over 50 ethnic minority, Ethnology Museum is an ideal place offering you a better understanding about the cultural diversity as well as the custom of each group. Before watching the traditional art, water puppet show – the last activity of the day, you can let yourself lost on the busy street of the Old Quarter with a lot of interesting things. Today, you will float down the Mekong River to discover Pak Ou Caves, a Luang Prabang’s hot tourist spot overlooking the Mekong River. It includes two caves nestled in a limestone cliff, and is outstanding with thousands of Buddha statue in different size and shape. It is considered as a sacred place and very popular with local pilgrimages, especially on the days of the New Year many people come here to prayer for health and luck.

Leaving the caves, you will be super excited to visit Ban Xieng Lek and Ban Xang Khong, where you can expand your knowledge about making weaving paper and drum, some of the traditional crafts made by the local. Then, you will spend time to climb on Phousi Mountain which located in the centre of Luang Prabang to take a majestic view of sunset and the magnificent view of whole Luang Prabang.

The Night Market is the last stop where you can immerse yourself in the busy atmosphere of the local market in the night with delicious foods, pretty handmade stuff and nice people. Then, come back to hotel, have meal and stay overnight here.

The day of population in Luang Prabang often starts with a religious ceremony called Alms Giving Ceremony at the early morning. Thus, you can get up early to join with the local offering food to the monks and learn about this ritual. Then, turn back to hotel, enjoy breakfast and get ready to start a city tour in the first stop, Wat Xieng Thong. This stunning temple plays an important role in preserving religious values as well as art values for Luang Prabang in general and Laos in particular.
