Welcome to Luang Prabang. Your flight will land at the airport in Luang Prabang. Then, you are picked up and transferred to hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Start your tour by visiting Wat Xieng Thong, a stunning sweeping-roof temple which preserves the historic and religious value of Laos. With its gorgeous and intricate decoration, the temple is an ideal place for architecture buffs. The next stop is Wat Visoun or Wat Wisunarat built in 1513 and known as the oldest temple in Luang Prabang. Wat Visoun attracts visit by its two structure namely Stupa of Great Lotus dating back to 16th and the Sim. Stupa of Great Lotus was built in the early traditional style having a dome and was home of many small Buddha icons.  The Sim (ordination hall) is outstanding with the impressive wooden doors decorated with carvings describing Hindu Gods Visnu, Brahma,etc. Besides, you also take time to visit Wat Mai, a richly-ornamented temple near the Royal Palace. Located on the main street, this Wat usually leaves strong impression on visitor by its five-level red roof, the detailed carvings and golden-plated decoration pattern.

Before going to the natural heaven, Kuang Si falls, you will pay a visit to Bear Rescure Centre, where you can watch a number of cute Asiatic Black Bears playing, eating and sleeping. Along the the way to the bear centre, you can go to Kuang Si fall, to refresh in the azure pools and immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscape of 50-meter fall, cascades and tropical rainforest. Afterwards, the rest day is free for you.

This morning you will be picked up to the boat jetty to and go on a river boat to move to Pak Ou caves. In this voyage, you will share the boat with other people to upstream the Mekong river and reach the target destination. It will takes you two hours to get there, so you can take advantage of these 2 hours to admire the picturesque landscape along the banks, and witness the rustic and peaceful life of the local.

Pak Ou which means mouth of the Ou got its current name since it is located in the face of a cliff at the place where the Ou River joins the Mekong. It has two caves namely Tham Ting (lower cave) and Tham Theung (upper cave) dating back to more than a thousand years. Pak Ou caves accumulated over 4000 Budda images and some of them dates back to a hundered years, which made the cave become a place for reflection and prayer, especially, on the New Year days, the local usually come here for wishing health and prosperity. It is not only a particular religious site in the Land of millions Elephant, but an ideal place for nature buffs as well. Then, you can have chance to enjoy Lao dishes when you’re on the boat turning back to Luang Prabang. The tuk tuk will transfer you to hotel for resting.

This morning, make sure you get everything ready for the flight to Hanoi. Wait until the time to move to the airport for taking your departure flight. Arrive in hanoi, then transfer to hotel for check-In, have meal and stay overnight in the hotel.

Spend day to visit some of the capital’s tourist sites. You can take time to visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and the stilt house first to learn about the life and career of the beloved Father who led the Vietnamese to a independent, happy and prosperous life. The mausoleum is the final resting place of leader Ho Chi Minh and can be seen as the part of Vietnamese history. Therefore, there are some regulations that you must pay attention to make sure you dress with respect and not bring or do the inappropriate things.

Continue your tour with a visit to One Pillar Pagoda, an impressive pagoda od lotus-shape erected on a pillar in the centre of a lotus pond. It is said to be constructed depending on the dream of King Ly Thai Tong and hold an important value in the life of population in Hanoi. Nowadays, it is the icon of Vietnam’s capital. Another historic site you should not ignore is Temple of Literature, where you can gain knowledge about Vietname scholars and contemplete special architecture with the combination of nature with artifical buildings. Remember to spend time eating lunch and resting a short time to recharge energy for the afternoon trip.

Ethnology Museum is the main tourist spot in this afternoon. Apart from Kinh group, Vietnam has over 50 ethnic groups, thus it will be super interesting to visit Ethnology Museum, where offers you an insight into these group’s way of lives, religious events, traditonal custom, culture aspect through the display of a series traditonal houses, photographs and audiotapes. Besides, the water puppet show, a kind of art only exist in Vietnam, is worth watching. This traditional art was born in the Ly dynasty and performed on the water surface. The puppets will be controlled by experienced artist and performed with traditional music to make the show more lively. When the show finishes, you will come back to hotel, have meals and stay a night in the hotel.

This morning, after breakfast, you will depart Hanoi to move to Halong Bay, one of the tourist hot spots in Vietnam and the world as well. Dotted with over 1600 fantastic islands and islets which are topped with green vegetation, Halong Bay will make you overwhelm by its natural riches. You will indulge yourself in an overnight cruise on boat and will be served with delicious seafood during the voyage.

It’s better to rise early in the morning, since you have more time for exploring the World Heritage site and have an opportunity to be welcomed with the magnificent view of the Bay dim in the glister of sun ray. The ship will cruise on the emerald waters through some spectacular parts of the Bay, so don’t forget to take some nice photos to keep unique moments when you have an excursion to Halong Bay. You will not linger too long in Halong.

After finishing the short trip in the morning, you will come back to Hanoi and head to airport for a flight to Danang. Afterward, you will move to Hoi An to check in hotel, have meals and rest a night there.

On the eighth day of the tour, you will have a full day to expand your knowledge about Hoi An, the UNESCO World Heritage old town. Hoi An is not too large, so a bike tour to the first stopping point, Tra Que Organic village, is highly recommended.  As, it name, the village is mainly farming herb and vegetable. Apart from riding around the village to see the peaceful life of people and the green, you can sample some tasty local herb juice as a way to experience the taste of the specialties. Cam Thanh coconut village, where you can find a large and beautiful coconut palm forest is the next stop of the bike tour. The rural life of the local seems to relate to bamboo, thus, don’t be amazing when you see a lot of items made from bamboo such as bamboo boats, which are used for fishing or tourism purpose. Stop in the village, you can have chance to have a lunch consisting of the daily dishes with local family to experience the custom as well as the warm atmosphere when all people in getting around to eat together.

Then, say goodbye to these friendly villagers to ride your bike back to Hoi An town. Take some short rest to get ready for a short trip to some parcular attractions of the town such as the ancient houses dated back hundred years and were stunning example of the combination between Chinese and Japanese architectural features; Japanese Covered Bridge which constructed in 1590s and attract many visitors by the fame for the beauty of graceful curves; Phuc Kien Hall worshiping Buddha and gaining the nice fame for unique architecture as well as stunning decoration, and the local fish market where you find most of delicious fishy dishes. If you want to have traditional clothes made by Vietnamese people, you can visit some tailor-made shop to order.

Then turn back to hotel, have meals and rest overnight at the hotel.

Take the free time in morning to prepare your luggage since you will depart Hoi An and transfer to Hue in the afternoon. On the route from Hanoi to Hue via Hai Van Pass and Lang Co beach, you can capture some impressive views of Vietnam with the beauty of countryside, mountains and scenic coast. Arrive in Hue, check in hotel and stay overnight here.

In the morning, take a cyclos tour to visit the Royal Citadel, an UNESCO World Heritage. Built in 1805 and completed in 1832, this place was not only the residence of royal family but the court’s workplace as well. It includes many sections such as Ngo Mon gate, Kham Van Palace, etc. thus it might take you a lot of time to visit all.

Only visit some outstanding ones, then you can have time to embark a boat for a relaxing cruise along the poetic and beautiful Huong River or Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. This seven-storey temple was built in 1601 and is one of the oldest religious buildings in Vietnam. The ancient architecture was erected on the base of nature, which create a perfect image to capture from the river.

Afterward, come back to the city centre and take a short trip to Tu Duc Mausoleum located in a valley. With the covering of green tree, this large work of architecture is seen as a part at the first sight. Thus, coming to this place, you not only can let yourself lost in this scenery park, but learn about history of King Tu Duc and visit some notable part of the tomb as well. On the way back to the hotel to rest, it’s worth stopping at Tu Hieu Pagoda for a visit.

This day, you will come to airport and wait for your departure flight for Ho Chi Minh City. After the plane, you will be transferred to hotel for check- in. Then, setting off your city tour by visit Post Office first. This building was erected around 1886-1891 in French colonial style. It is must-see attraction for not only architectural lovers but for those who are interested in Vietnam history as well.

Looking around, you can find the Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the symbols of the city. Continue to Dong Khoi street, where you can find a lot of boutiques, cafés, restaurants and some works of French architecture. Its bustling atmosphere absolutely will make you feel excited.

Two last sites for city tour is Binh Tay market, located in Cholon and Thien Hau pagoda. The biggest and liveliest market in the city is the place for you to get experience as a real Vietnames customer – bargain and buy some things you want with an appropriate price. Meanwhile, Thien Hau pagoda, the stunning Chinese-style temple is the place where you can find feaceful moments. Then, you will turn back to hotel, enjoy meal and stay overnight at hotel.

Your last day of your tour, you will spend time exploring Ben Tre in Mekong Delta,  After you come to the landing-stage, set sail on Chat Say River to start your journey. It’s time for you to take a closer look to the daily life and the culture of the local people. There are many interesting villages along the Chat Say river for paying a visit where you will meet the local working hard to make brick, see several coconut trees and you can taste as well as witness the process of making the some products with coconut as specialities.

Continue the cruise, you can visit a peaceful village where you can take a walk, get some peaceful moments and watch people making mats by using the hand loom. Then, take a bike tour to another village to take some nice photos in countryside areas with the beautiful background of rice fields and vegetation. Moreover, you will be served lunch at a house of the local and share the regional dishes with them. After taking a short rest, you will come back to your boat for a turning cruise. Then, you move to the ending tourist point Ho Chi Minh city to have meal and say good bye to your fellow travellers.
