Welcome to Luang Prabang. Like in many other  tours, you will spend the first day to take a flight to the first destination, check in the hotel, enjoy meals, and rest yourself one night so that you recharge your energy after a long flight and get ready for the trip in the next days.

Known as  the outstanding landmark in Laos, Luang Prabang is an ideal place for nature lovers. It is said that Pak Ou Caves are worth considering visiting first when you want to have the best moment in this charming town. Thus, after enjoying breakfast, you can go kayaking or sailing boat to this holy site where can make people impressed by  two caves wedging into a side of a cliff. These limestone caves protect 4000 Buddha statues facing to the Mekong river and are the place for local visiting on every New Year to pray for luck, health and prosperity.

Leaving Pak Ou Caves, let’s enjoy lunch and move to Kuang Si Falls to end your day with breathtaking view of nature and enjoying yourself by swimming. The three tier cascade offer you chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of tropical rain forest setting. There are many turquoise pools for you to  beat your fatigue. Moreover, you can walk along the trail leading to the top of the fall to get the best view of the forest or take time to visit a bear rescue centre near Kuang Si Falls.

If you can get up early in the morning, you will not miss the Alms Giving Ceremony, one of the traditional ritual for Laotians. The ceremony usually take places at the sunrise on the main street with the purpose of giving food as gifts for Buddhist monks. Then, you can start your trip by visiting Royal Palace built in 1904 to contemplate the combination of traditional Laos and French art style. It once was home to  King Sisavang Vong, but now it is known as a museum displaying collection of Royal family. Your trip will not perfect if you miss chance to visit some glorious Buddhist temples of Luang Prang, particularly Wat Xiengthong, an outstanding example for decoration art of Laotian. At the end of the day, don’t forget to climb to Phous Hill for watching sunset and the view of the entire town.

This day is time for saying goodbye to Luang Prabang. You will have time to eat breakfast and prepare your luggage before you get on the bus to move to Vientiane and spend a night here. It will take you 8 hours to get there, so it’s best to prepare something help you entertain during that time.

After discovering all things in Vientiane, let’s prepare for the next trip in another country, Cambodia. You will take a flight to move to Phnom Penh, the nice riverside capital of Cambodia and take a rest in the hotel there.

Don’t forget to eat breakfast in the hotel before you go outside to start your tour since Phnom Penh will keep you busy all day with its must-see attractions. The first one should be Silver Pagoda, where you find the floor be inlaid with over 5000 silver tiles. Besides, the temple is also well-known with another the name as Temple of the Emerald Buddha since it is home of an emerald Buddha statue made of baccarat crystal. Sharing the same space in pagoda are a 90-kilogram gold Buddha statue and many other samples of Khmer artisanship.

Not far from the temple is the Royal Palace, a building gleams in gold. It dominates other places thanks to the splendid Khmer architecture. To continue the tour, a visit to Wat Phnom is the best choice. It is a Buddha temple located on the top of 27-meter-high hill, so you have to climb the staircase decorated with lions and naga to reach it. The Wat was erected in 1373 with the purpose of worshipping four Buddha statues brought by the water of the Mekong River. The legend related to it will be given in detail when you make an excursion to this place.

Spending time eating breakfast and enjoying the morning at leisure until the time to go to airport for  a flight to continue your tour to Siem Reap, another tourist hub of Cambodia. You will spend your night in Siem Reap and the rest of day after you come to Siem Reap is free for you to do your favorite things.

The local life always contain some thing new and interesting to discover, thus, the real trip to floating villages can give you great experiences. The truly authentic floating villages are the communities of people living in wooden houses floating on the river. Almost of daily activities of people take place on the water from going to ‘’floating school” or going to “floating church”. You will feel peaceful and relieved when cruising to these villages. Chong Kneas, Kampong Phluk and Kampong Khleang are some of villages you can spend your day. If possible, you can come and visit Angkor Silk Farm, where you can learn the process of making silk and buy some high-quality silk products as souvenir for family and friends.

Finally, the time for you to visit the ancient wonders comes. It’s better to get up early so that you don’t miss the glorious sunset at Angkor temples. Don’t forget your breakfast since a full day for visiting the famous temples asks you a lot of energy. The first stop of your trip to Angkor Archeological Park will be Angkor Wat, the largest religious monuments in the world. Built in 12th century and first used to dedicate to Hindu, and then worship Buddhist the temple is an excellent model of the cosmic world. Although it once was ignored, now it still keep its important role in reserving the Cambodia’s culture and history.

Continue to Angkor Thom, the capital of Khmer Empire, you will first be impressed by the gate with four smiling faces oriented four direction and then, the Temple of Ta Prohm which appears in the film Tomb Raider with the beauty of an ancient temple lost in the jungle. Besides, you can take time to visit some other sites such as Terrace of the Elephants.
